3. Q. What does the tented trek mean? |
A tented trek means camping in tents out in the open sky at the end of the day. Porters or animal’s back carries all the camping equipments and foodstuffs. A tented trek allows us to chart our own course and we do not have to take the usual trail, which means freedom from crowds and a more challenging adventure. It is a trek of your own world. |

4. Q. Could you tell me what the ‘TEA HOUSE TREK’ means? |
In a tea- house trek, we stay in lodges and eat in the restaurants (tea houses) for the whole trekking trail. This eliminates the need to drag heavy tents and cooking paraphernalia all over the place. On most popular routes, there are many lodges where we can stay and eat making fun. In short, it is a tension free trek. There is much redundancy in worries and troubles. |

5. Q Could you tell me the general routine of a trekking day and the approximately walking hours in a day? |
We start the day with a hot cup of tea and a bowl of warm water for washing face. After a hearty breakfast, we start walking. You proceed at your own pace and there is no need to keep up with the others because our guides will be with you. We walk for three to four hours before we stop for lunch. After the meal, we hit the trail again and reach our night-stop around mid-afternoon. You have the rest of the day to look the nature around and relax. |
