This trek retraces the route taken by the old mountaineering expeditions to Everest. We drive to the village of Jiri on the road which branches off to the east from the highway to Tibet. From Jiri, the trail heads east winding up and down forested slopes, pastures and villages inhabited by various ethnic groups. Entering the Dudh Koshi river valley, we turn north and follow the river upstream to Monjo and on to Namche Bazaar in the Sherpa heartland. We continue trekking sharing the trail with yak caravans passing Tyangboche monastery and on to Pheriche across alpine meadows above the tree line. We are in very high country now and the route continues along the Khumbu glacier to Gorakshep. The summit of Kalapatthar (5,545 m) is a steep ascent and provides the best vantage point to view Everest. The vista of the tallest mountain on earth from here is awe-inspiring. We walk back to Lukla and then fly to Kathmandu.
Day 02: Pick up guest and TXF to APT.Fly to LUA.Then trek to Phakding 3Hrs.
Day 03: TREK TO NAMCHE. (3440m/6Hrs)
Day 04: All day in NAMCHE for aclamatization.
Day 05: Trek to THAME.3832m.4Hrs.
Day 06: Trek to MARLUNG.4210m.4Hrs
Day 07: Trek to LUNGDEN.4380m.1Hrs.
Day 08: All day in LUNGDEN for aclamatization.
Day 09: Trek to GOKYO.4790m.8Hrs.
Day 10: Early in the morning go to PEAK 5357M. and Back to GOKYO.
Day 11: Trek to THANGNA KHARKA.4700M.3Hrs
Day 12: Trek to JONGLA VIA CHOLA PASS 5368M.4830Hrs. XX
Day 13: Trek to LOBUCHHE.4910m.3Hrs
Day 14: Early in the morning go to KALAPAHTER5550M. and Back to LOBUCHE..
Day 15: All day in Lobuche Rest.
Day 16: Trek to CHHUKUNG 4730m. Via KONGMALA 5535m.
Day 17: All day in CHHUKUNG.Visti around CHHUKUNG.
Day 18: Trek down to PANGBOCHE 3930m. 5Hrs.
Day 19: Trek Down to Kyanjuma.3550m.4Hrs.
Day 20: Trek down to Monjo via Namche.2835m.4Hrs.
Day 21: Trek to Lukla. 5Hrs.
Day 22: Fly back to KTM.Then free.
Day 23: All day in Kathmandu.
Day 24: All day in Kathmandu.
Day 25: Free till departure.Pick up guest at 10AM and TXF to Airport then Bye
