A Tibetan plateau-like land of howling winds and rocky hills, Mustang is stark, beautiful and awe-inspiring. Prehistoric cave dwellings pockmark the bare hillsides and ancient Buddhist monasteries point to its mystical heritage. Lo Manthang, the capital of Mustang, is a walled city situated at an altitude of 3,730 m. Occupying the upper end of the Kali Gandaki Gorge adjoining the Tibetan border, Mustang is another world.
We fly to Jomsom from Pokhara and start walking north up the Kali Gandaki river passing the village of Kagbeni and reach Chaile after a steep climb. Walking through fields of barley and after a number of ups and downs, we arrive at Charang where there is a huge Tibetan-style fortress perched on the edge of the gorge. Traveling across a desert-like landscape, we reach Lo Manthang. After a day of resting and looking around, we return to Jomsom for the flight back to Pokhara and Kathmandu.
Day 02: Pick up guest and TXF to APT Fly to POKHARA.HTL Check in then free.
Day 03: AM Fly to JOMSOM 2720m. Trek to KAGBENI (2800m/3Hrs).Walking in the KALIGANDAKI River Bank.
Day 04: Trek to CHELE.(3050m/5Hrs)
Day 05: Trek to GHELING(35700m/5Hrs).Cross Bagala (3870m).
Day 06: Trek to CHARAMG.(3560m/6Hrs). Cross NIRA (4010m).
Day 07: Trek to LOMANTHANG.(3760m/6Hrs).Cross (3950m.).
Day 08: All day in LOMANTHANG. Activities.
Day 09: Trek to GHEMI.(3520m/7Hrs)
Day 10: Trek to SAMAR.(3660m/7Hrs).
Day 11: Trek to TETANG (3200m/6Hrs. Via CHHUSANG(2980m)
Day 12: Trek to MUKTINATH.(3760m/6Hrs.)
Day 13: Morning sightseeing to Bishnu Hindu Temple and Jwalamukhi Buddhist Temple. After Lunch TXF to JOMSOM(2710m by Local JEEP.Some time can reserve due to the condition./2Hrs.
Day 14: AM Fly back to POKHARA.After LUNCH Fly back to KATHMANDU.HTL Check in Free.
Day 15: All day in .Kathmandu.
Day 16: AM free till departure.Pick up guest at 10AM and Se to APT. Bye
