Tyangboche Monastery is the focus of Sherpa Buddhist culture and the center of pilgrimage in the Everest region. It is situated at the end of a ridge surrounded by fir and rhododendron trees with the picturesque peak of Ama Dablam rising behind it. The trail to Tyangboche begins at the airstrip of Lukla and passes through the colorful village of Namche Bazaar. The trail goes up and down mountain-sides, across streams and over log and suspension bridges. You will also come across yak trains carrying goods to the high Himalayan settlements. Thamserku peak offers a mind-boggling view from Syangboche.
Namaste ! Kindly accept heartily greetings from the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal.
